How to set on water training speeds

Setting a training speeds at particular rates can assist athletes in maintaining their performance.  Here we explain how to set the rates and if you can set them as a percentage of world best times then this assists in athletes better understanding how they rank in relation to other athletes. 
 
Set with care so that the level of exertion to maintain a steady state rate of say 20spm is not excessive.
