Racing exercise you can do every rowing session!
In this video, Lachlan Davey demonstrates an exercise that you can do every session to improve your racing. When the boat moves at race pace, it behaves very differently compared to when it's rowing along at 20 strokes per minute.
This exercise helps athletes understand what it takes to row fast. There is nothing worse than an athlete who wants to win but can't move the boat quickly at a high rate. This individual ultimately falls to pieces when they are required to increase the rating in a race.
