How to fix diving into the catch
In our video for members only, Ken and Annabel demonstrate what diving/slumping into the catch looks. They show you how to spot slumping from the front and the side.
Slumping into the catch will mean you are in a far weaker position than if you sit tall into the catch. You will also not be able to take a full stroke and miss water at the catch.
Often what happens when an athlete dives their body into the catch is they miss water as they sky their blade.
