Preparing for a 5km time trial

In this video 5km Olympian Anthony Edwards take us through how to prepare for competition. He uses the example of a 5km time trial. 

In particular he talks about the importance of routine in the lead up to the event. Each of the sessions devised are designed to prepare the athlete both physically and mentally for the competion. 

He discusses the importance of finding the rating which feels the best in preparation for the competion. This routine builds confidence as well as conditioning the athlete.
